SimpleMUC Munich Open Data AI Assistant

Prerequisites: Claude Desktop App

1. Open Claude Desktop settings
2. Navigate to "MCP Servers" section
3. Add a new server with these details:
   Name: munich-opendata
   Command: npx
   Args: ["@tamerintech/simplemuc-mcp"]
4. Save and restart Claude Desktop
5. Available Tools:
   ask_question: Primary tool - ask any Munich data question
   find_dataset: Search for specific datasets
6. Test with: "ask_question: What are the most popular baby names in Munich?"

Prerequisites: ChatGPT with Custom GPT capabilities

1. Currently, ChatGPT doesn't have native MCP support
2. Alternative: Create a Custom GPT that connects to SimpleMUC API:
   API Endpoint: https://simplemuc.tamerintech.com/api
   Description: Munich Open Data AI Assistant
   Tools Available: ask_question, find_dataset
3. Configure the Custom GPT with SimpleMUC's OpenAPI schema
4. Test with: "What are Munich's population statistics?"

Note: Direct MCP support in ChatGPT is not yet available. Use the web interface at SimpleMUC.com for full functionality.

Prerequisites: Google AI Studio or Gemini API access

1. Currently, Gemini doesn't have native MCP support
2. Alternative: Use SimpleMUC API with Gemini through function calling:
   API Endpoint: https://simplemuc.tamerintech.com/api
   Munich Data Tools:
   • ask_question: Answer questions about Munich data
   • find_dataset: Search for specific datasets
3. Implement function calling in your Gemini application
4. Test with: "Use ask_question to find Munich traffic data"
